On 30 November, the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium will be in Tokyo, with the event Genius Loci. Our places, our leather, to propose to the professionals a whole day dedicated to vegetable tanned leather and its land, Tuscany.
Another aim of the event Genius Loci is to consolidate the relationship between the associated tanneries and the Japanese customer. The location of the event will be, as is the tradition, the Italian Istitute of Culture.
The event will provide an exposure of veg-tanned leathers, representative of the associated tanneries’ collection and also of the accessories realized by the young designers participants in Craft The Leather 2016.
During the day there will be a seminar addressed to the professionals. The speakers will be:
- Simone Remi, President of Consortium and owner of Conceria Badalassi Carlo;
- Massimo Boldrini, Vice-President of Consortium and owner of Conceria La Perla Azzurra;
- Manuel Casella, member of the Directive board of Consortium.
Furthermore, as usual, at the end of the day it will be organized a press conference reserved for specialised journalists.
